Maybe I expect too much for a series that 15 books in, but I really felt like this book was, well, bleh. The plot points are so predictable and in this latest installment the mystery wasn't even well executed. I really wish Evanovich would challenge Stephanie as a character. Let her get involved with Ranger, let us see what happens. Let her take the plunge with Morelli. So far we have just seen a lather, rinse, repeat cycle of cars exploding and failures to capture FTAs. It's like yes that's the Plum I feel in love with so many books ago, but I've grown, so why hasn't Stephanie?
