First let me remind you that this is YA or as Harper is so hiply calling it these days "teen," so my review is in the spirit of YA. The plot points below mention in other reviews don't bother me. I loved my family but college was a chance to run thousands of miles away -- the protagonist feels the same way, so she makes some pretty silly decisions in order to stay at school. Even when faced with death our plucky herione continues to put herself in danger. It's a fun read with cute boys that remind you of cute older brothers home from college visits. I do recommend the "Morganville Vampires" which combines the first two. It's $9 for 2 vs. $6 individuay and it let's you get a bit deeper into the series.
