Capezio flats...yep. Reading this book inspired many text-bates with a dear friend like "what highschool juniors take business law and inteior decorating" or "what does eyes like a saracastic spaniel even mean." I bought the omnibus out of nostalgia. But if I am going to return to the summer books of my youth, next time I'll try Chris Pike or Louis Duncan. LJ Smith's books are dated (does anyone under 30 even remember what Capezio's is?) and poorly written. I think YA has come a long way and maybe it's simply time time to leave Smith's books in the past.
