Pros:* Sookie story is finally over* We saw every living character one last time* Eric has more progenyCons:* She ends up with Sam Sorry but I am firmly in the camp that is pissed about the ending of this book. I get that Harris has been dropping hints for years that Sookie would stay human, but after suffering through filler novels and bad plots, I feel a bit kicked in the teeth that this is how the series ends. For 12 books, Sookie has always clear labeled Sam as a friend. His friend zone was so clear that it had an armed border and militia patrols. No one was hoping that fence. But oh no, Harris slaps us with they're going to be together and you're going to like it on page 1 and keeps slamming it down our throats. The only reason I gave this two stars instead of one was for the final few pages. Sookie redeems herself slightly by taking things slow with Sam and understanding that they might not be together forever.
